Li-S电池正极中发生的氧化还原反应隐藏了各种关键的电催化过程,这些过程对电化学储能系统的性能有显著的影响。在这里,我们报告了由多金属氧酸盐骨架([Co4(PW9O34)2]10-)和多层还原氧化石墨烯组成的单分散分子簇催化剂复合材料的进展。由于界面电荷转移和不饱和钴位点的暴露,该复合材料表现出高效的多硫化物吸附性能,降低了多硫化物转化的活化能,因此可用作双功能电催化剂。当在完整的Li-S纽扣电池配置中进行测试时,该复合材料允许长期的Li-S电池循环,在2 C(即3.36 A·g-1) 下循环1000次后,每个循环的容量衰减为0.015%。同时在5.6 mg·cm-2的硫负载量和4.5 μL·mg-1的E/S比下实现了4.55 mAh·cm-2的面积容量。此外,用双功能电催化剂测试的Li-S单电极软包电池在3.6 mg·cm-2的硫负载下,E/S比为5 μL·mg−1时,在0.2 C(即 336 mA·g-1)下循环100次,比容量约为800 mAh·g-1。
